Training Tips for Lead Line, Walk Trot, and Novice

Training Tips for Basic, Preliminary, Intermediate, and Advanced

Looking to improve your times in speed?

Practice keeping your horse supple while doing transitions within the gaits.   An exercise like collected canter to medium canter to collected canter to extended canter and back while keeping the suppleness in your horse’s topline and lateral bend without resistance will reward you with quicker times.  A horse that can easily and without resistance make transitions within the gait will shave seconds off the speed times.
